Graphite Pencil Shading Techniques

It doesn't have to be highly detailed to look natural! Some areas of shading require more time and patience than others. For example, we may have to use the same pencil blunted, to achieve a particular effect whereas it may have to be sharp to give finer details without changing the line composition.
This was done as a study in pencil shading techniques.
